Apparently, a man in China had his arms chained so tightly in an illegal prison that his flesh and skin began growing over the shackles. It’s really gross and if you have a weak stomach, don’t click through. No, seriously.
Zhang Chuanqiu, a 27-year-old man, was locked to a cowshed by village officials over a loan dispute. Predictably, it hurts like hell. Zhang says:
“They are always inflamed and ooze pus all the time. But we have no money so I have to rely on charity or the good heart of a hospital or doctor to save my hands”
The incident happened in 2005. Here’s to hoping Zhang and doctors figured a way to fix him by now. [Austrian Times via Geekosystem]

Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at 8:33 PMI have a friend who found a pair of sunglassed in the middle of a tree. Same thing happened, just grew around the obstacle. I have seen bolts in trees swallowed up like this. Didn’t know that it could happen to human flesh, but it makes sense.
