Watch 680Kg Of Mobile Phones Dumped On A Camaro

A mobile phone recycler took its YouTube promo campaign to a new level by dropping 680kg of junked mobile phones on a parked 4th-generation Camaro. The resulting mess answers a question only a Mustang fan would ever ask.

The filmmakers later clarified that the Camaro wasn’t in running condition, wasn’t close to ever running again, and was bought by a member of the crew as a parts car after the shoot. To see the final ad, featuring some community theatre-level acting that’s still more compelling than certain automakers have produced lately, go here. (Hat tip to Jared Glentz!)

“Close to running condition” is an opinion… ANYTHING can be fixed and that used to be a convertible Camaro. This video just squashed the chances of someone with an ounce of ambition from owning one cool car.
Flash forward 30 years from now and people will look back on this and say “how could they do that to such a cool car” the same way people look back on 300 Chargers being destroyed by the Duke Boys. At least those died in action. This was hit by junk cell phones.
