In fact, they actually launched a petition to get the mysterious pipe-tapper to cease making such a racket. Thankfully, a worried neighbour alerted rescue workers when they realised she hadn’t been seen in weeks. She survived thanks to her diet of drinking warm water from the tap. Had she had a phone on her like the man trapped in the Haitian earthquake earlier this year, she could’ve at least looked up some nice recipes for warm water and soap. But no, this old woman just happened to move next to the Flanders house.
