The New And Improved iPod Nano Watch

The first iPod nano watch, designed for Apple’s new watch-sized iPod nano, was basically just a nylon strap. How unimaginative. These new funky-colour silicone bands from Hex actually make Apple’s diminutive iPod look like a not-entirely-ridiculous timepiece.

The $US24.95 Hex band has a pop-in design which incorporates the nano into the watch (as opposed to just sticking it on a band, like the first one did). It has integrated control buttons and comes in nine colours.

But here’s the question: does snaking your headphone cord up your sleeve in this situation make the idea of wearing an iPod as a watch more or less silly? [ShopHex]

Cord up the arm is not new. If you ever had a sports sleeve for your iPod it’s no different, just slightly lower on your arm…

You can always pretend to talk into it like a spy.
