iPhone Owners Must Download This Free Tron Game Immediately

Please ignore the fact that this game is Coke Zero-branded. The most important thing is that it’s a location-based game for Tron: Legacy, which uses the iPhone’s GPS for LightCycle battles on your daily travels.

The game revolves around the virtual Tron map, which is based on your own location. Gamers create light trails based on their movements, and once other people crash into your trails, you receive points. It’s probably easiest if you watch the video above and then download the free app for a go if you’ve got an iPhone. Supposedly an Android version is on its way – with any luck before the movie opens in cinemas on December 16. [iTunes via Coke via TechRadar]

I should be clarified that this article is talking about the app called “LiveCycle”, not the “TRON” app.

Looks great, too bad the price of entry is giving Coke full and complete access to your Facebook details.

This is a shamefully blatant invasion of privacy!
You have to give full access of your Facebook account to Coke to even open this app!
You should probably have mentioned this in your article Kat Hannaford..

So does that mean you can’t play it if you don’t have a facebook account?
