Aluminium, wood and glass. Lots of glass. A glass dome covering the main suite. A glass Persian carpet in the living room. Glass staircases similar to the ones found in Apple’s retail stores. The Beluga feels like a floating loft designed by Jon Ive.
The yacht, actually designed by Will Erens, has five suites with extendible balconies, Turkish bath, a gym that belongs in the Enterprise and even a movie theatre. The best part, however, is the 60sqm deck with a 14m long swimming pool and the built-in greenhouse with a vegetable garden. [Puresang via BornRich]

Thursday, November 4, 2010 at 12:56 PMOMG do you have to say “if apple made yachts”. Jesus Christ can you suck it any harder. Rather then praising the friggen designer you have a whole first paragraph dedicating your love to apple(lower case is on purpose) and their products.
I’m not say their products are good or bad. But I am saying that a article about a boat should be about a boat not about a tech company.

Thursday, November 4, 2010 at 2:11 PMIf Apple made yachts, they would then dictate the areas you can sail it, and leave off important features, therefore requiring you to upgrade each year when they release a new model. Oh, and then Steve would name the features as if Apple invented the concept of sailing, “and it’s magical and we just couldn’t be happier.”
