How Would An Olympic Stadium In The Moon Look?

I can’t imagine how sports would be in the the moon. I guess it’d be slow motion 100m or flying gladiators with lasers. Either way, I want to watch, and this stadium on the moon looks like the perfect place.

Placed inside a half-kilometre crater, the Stadium of International Lunar Olympics would be round, with space for 100,000 spectators. It would use digital lighting to project field markers. On the tower, there would be a huge hotel, restaurants and a Jeff Bridges-lookalike in space suit, watching people killing each other.

I tell you: The future IS fun. [Archdaily]

well it wouldn’t really be slow motion 100m. As long as they kept close to the ground and didn’t leap up, it’d be just as fast/faster as/than on Earth. Assuming the atmosphere is Earth normal.

    Two things:
    1) @olearymo, I think the start of the race would be more important, since a good kick off and you could basically glide for a good chunk of the track.

    2) Ender’s Game.
