Apple Is Preparing To Extend iTunes Song Previews To 90 Seconds

We’ve heard rumours of longer iTunes song previews, but it looks like Apple is finally preparing to switch to them. Soon you’ll be able to enjoy a whoppin’ 90 seconds of songs which are over 2.5 minutes.

Shorter songs will still have previews lasting only 30 seconds, but that’s just something we’ll have to live with.

We don’t know when the longer song previews will roll out, but considering that Apple is informing music labels of the change right now, it shouldn’t take too long. [MacRumors]
