Yeah, But Does Your Keyboard Tie Actually Play Music?

On the left: a standard-issue keyboard tie. Sure, it looks great and makes you popular at parties, but acoustically it’s a dud. On the right: a fashionable tie that also makes beautiful music. Listen to the sound of neckware evolution!

From Maureen Grant, the soft circuit keyboard tie was built using the Open Software tutorial. And if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go find a fancy meeting to attend so I’ll have an excuse to wear one. [Fashioning Technology via Make]

Actually, that tie looks horrible and warped. I wouldn’t wear that to work, but if they made it look normal, I’d buy 15 of them and wear them in the shower.

Damn, I thought they’d made a playable piano neck tie for a second.

What’s the point in a normal tie playing music?
