Plantronics are pretty good with their Bluetooth audio kit, so their new K100 Bluetooth car speaker kit is worthy of a mention. With A2DP, the speaker can stream music, phone calls, podcasts and GPS navigation directions from your smartphone.
The device, which weighs 92 grams and clips onto your visor, features a built in FM transmitter to broadcast your audio through your car’s speaker system. It’s inbuilt battery gives 17 hours of talk time and 15 days worth of standby, and can be charged from zero to hero in 2.5 hours. It has an RRP of $129.

I loved my in-helmet bluetooth headset when I was on my motorbike, no wires and lots-o-audio (and given I could hear emergency vehicles that the other drives couldn’t, not I don’t think it was a bad idea ;))
