    Unfortunately it’s not applicable to the poor Aussies who purchased one of these laptops as it’s only open to US residents

    Well, my Dell Inspiron 9400 certainly fits all the requirements.
    It was bought in April 2006, has a Nvidia GeForce Go 7800 which plays up and overheats to the point of making the laptop useless -one of the reasons I rarely use it…
    …the only problem is my part number is a 7 character number and the form to check eligibility only allows 5 characters.

    Guess that means I’m not eligible… or the form has been purposely sabotaged. :P

    Either way…. bummer.
