HTCSense.com? Unlikely. Froyo? Within the next four weeks.
At the launch of the HTC Desire HD and Desire Z, HTC CEO Peter Chou was a little unsure about whether or not the existing Desire would get all the nifty new HTCSense.com features. Which, if I’m being cynical, probably means that it won’t.
Over at Lifehacker, Gus reports that it’s not all doom and gloom for Desire owners, with Telstra due to drop Android 2.2 (“Froyo”) onto its users in the next four weeks. Yes, we’ve had to wait a while for it, although those keen could hack a replacement ROM into place. If you’re not keen on that, though, it looks like the Froyo update is imminent anyway.

Bought it in May 2011, unlocked and covered with Telstra branding, including the words ‘With HTC Sense’ on the back of the phone. But it’s not actually available as a handset when you go to htcsense.com! Fail for HTC. Kinda wish I bought an iPhone…
