I actually prefer the subtle stretch and zap of the later jumps, the others always bothered me personally…

I prefer the last ridiculously fast one. The stretch always bothered me – I always thought that relativity suggested the length of the starship would contract relative to a stationary observer in the direction of travel as it approached the speed of light. /geek

Unfortunately non warp from TOS episodes, and trek XI sequence was badly interrupted. BTW, great video.

I would definitely like to see the warp drive to become real thing or fact. That would open so much more possibilities for discovery and exploration.
