Rumour: Windows Phone 7 Launches In Europe On October 21

The Windows Phone 7 release date buzz is going on in earnest these days, and while this latest rumour won’t solidify things just yet, they do serve to help us hone in on when the new mobile OS could launch.

Here’s what’s circulating today: Neowin is reporting that the launch will be preceded by several marketing events, with a U.S. one slated for New York City on October 11. Ten days later, on October 21, Windows Phone 7 will allegedly launch in the UK, France, Germany , Spain and Italy.
