Robotic Vaginas Make Childbirth Look More Horrifying Than Ever

WARNING: This video will probably leave you so traumatised that you’ll be unable to look at a baby, vagina, or robot without cringing again. It will also leave you wondering why on earth someone designed a baby machine like this.

Can’t they teach future medical practitioners about the magic of childbirth without involving robotic vaginas?

Why did I watch this? Nice one Andreas.

Ive used something similar when I was taught how to deliver a baby. They should have the dummy spewing out copious amounts of blood mucus ect.

This kind of thing is pretty common in early medical/nursing training – get the noviates trained up on machines before they do actual practicums in the field. That way they can get the theory down pat, and use the practicum to get over the OMFG part that comes with actual reality.

    Not that strange.

I think they should make it more serious, like a bomb defusing simulation, its so critical in what they do. There should be blood and other liquids oozing out and a real woman scream audio playing, umbilical cords and the worst thing of all the witnessing of the terrible placenta after the baby arrives. Yes men, when your partner gives birth be ready to see the placenta.

Could this be used to put things into it as well? I’m thinking this looks like an awsome sex toy. Bring it on.

I think they’ve dubbed this over with the sound from the video of that vowel-forming robot just for added creepiness (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dD_NdnYrDzY)
