That date, which has since been removed, was listed for both the $US119 Home and Student pack and the $US199 Home and Business pack. If you live in a home but are neither a student nor a business person, you’ll apparently have some decisions to make. [9to5Mac]

Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 11:12 AMCould this be the begining of the end for the windows OS? sounds like an acknowledgement from MS that they are loosing their strangle hold on the market. Oh no, what are all the Apple haters going to do…….

Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 7:21 PMNot sure where your coming from with this comment? It’s a chance for Microsoft to increase their market share by acknowledging that some people wish to produce documents on OSX and would like the familiarity that office brings.

Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 8:21 PM@Rick: what are you on about? This merely sounds like the update to Microsoft Office for Mac 2008, in the form of Microsoft Office for Mac 2010, is arriving on the 26th of October. How it heralds the end of Windows OS or their ‘strangle hold on the market’ is beyond me.
