There’s been much contention over the release date of Nokia’s coming flagship phone, however the company has just stated the N8 will be available (in the UK, at least) for £429 ($725) SIM-free in the last week of this month, at its online store.
From October 1, Carphone Warehouse, O2, Orange, Phones4u, T-Mobile, Tesco Phone Shops, Three Mobile, Virgin Mobile and Vodafone will be selling it too.<
Purchase it for the 12MP snapper, if nothing else.

Thursday, October 14, 2010 at 11:59 AMI have rung Vodafone Australia and they CAN NOT tell me if they will be selling it. I’m a little disappointed with that sort of information as Harvey Norman say they will have it in store on the 20th Oct.
Surely Vodafone know if they will be stocking it or not?
If the information above is correct then why aren’t Vodafone allowing customers to be notified if they will be stocking it?

Thursday, November 4, 2010 at 9:01 PMI asked today at Telstra shop and they have no idea. It was supposed to be in stores now, wonder why the big delay? I’m now considering the HTC Desire in comparison for less $$.
