Dell Confirms 7-inch Android Tablet In The Works

We had heard that the 5-inch Streak wouldn’t be Dell’s largest play in the tablet game, and now Michael Dell has confirmed that they’re working on a 7-inch Android tablet too. Hopefully one with a recent Android build this time.

The 5-inch Dell Streak, which is a bit too big for a pocket but a bit too small to do serious video watching, was interesting nonetheless but handicapped by the way-outdated Android 1.6. Dell said that the Streak would be available in Best Buy stores soon. [WSJ]

Well seing as how dell wont release any details of when or even “IF” they will release the streak in australia, i wont hold me breath for DULL to release this in Australia any time soon…..at least samsung have confirmed that the Galaxy Tab will be available in australia and given a “before christmas” time frame…. DULL has terrible marketing… so count me out of all DULL products.
