As spotted on George Street in Sydney this morning, the last gasp attempt to clear out Windows Mobile 6.5 stock has hit the streets with men on mopeds wearing helmets with… well, I guess they kinda look like antennae…
Seriously, don’t buy one of these. At the very least, wait for Windows Phone 7…

Plus, the alliteration of M in the headline makes it sound better.

Friday, September 24, 2010 at 3:50 PMGotta agree with Nick on this. Even if it’s technically not a moped, there’s enough latitude here for poetic license.

Friday, September 24, 2010 at 3:02 PMIf my understanding is correct, WP7 doesn’t support local syncing so, in this way at least, WM6.5 is superior to WP7 and someone wanting this feature would be better off buying WM6.5

Monday, September 27, 2010 at 9:57 AMWM6.5 also supports proper multi-tasking, WiFi hotspot, side-loading apps – all things that WP7 won’t do (at launch, anyway).

Friday, September 24, 2010 at 3:46 PMLOL, those “antennae” are made from petrol funnels.
I wonder if that’s how the rider fills up the scooter when he runs out of gas?

Completely disagree. Name one other OS that allows you to install a Linux bootloader meaning that you can then install Android 2.2 and the just released Desire HD ROM. Answer? My Winmo HD2.

Monday, September 27, 2010 at 9:55 AMWell, you could just use an Android 2.2 handset, like the Desire….and yes, there’s a couple Desire HD ROMs floating around for the original Desire.
