Begin The Geekification Of Your Offspring Early With The iiamo Self Heating Bottle

Gizmodo AU

That pink thing in the picture isn’t what you think it is. It’s a baby bottle. But more than that, it’s a baby bottle that heats itself up automatically, without batteries or dangerous chemicals.

We first saw the iiamo bottle back in January, before it was available to make feeding children away from the convenience of microwaves somewhat easy. But now Latestbuy are selling the thing, it’s worth mentioning again for any confused parents looking for a way to offer body-temperature milk or formula.

By using a disposable capsule or water and salt, the iiamo promises temperatures of 37 degrees for 180mL of milk in four minutes. Of course, the disposable capsules means you’ll have ongoing expenses after the initial $60 outlay, but that’s the price you have to pay for convenience.

Looked good, till I saw the part about disposable heating capsules.

Pity it doesn’t use a sodium-acetate click-n-go type heat source.

    Hi there –

Just thought I’d let you and your readers know that the iiamo products are available at Itty Bitty Greenie (http://ittybittygreenie.com.au)

There is also a handy gift pack with bottle & 6 warmers for $59.95, which is cheaper than buying the items separately.

And they are, indeed, fantastic bottles – especially when travelling with little ones.
