Fanboy. It’s simultaneously the geek equivalent of calling somebody a racist on the internet and a badge of pride, the ultimate declaration of one’s undying devotion to something. Are you a fanboy (or fangirl)?
Do have an unconditional, abiding affection for a company, product, person or other cultural object, so much so you consider yourself a fanboy? Or is that taking things too far?

Put it in context – when was the last time you met someone with a complete inabilty to rationally give fair weight to all the pros and cons, and then walked away thinking “Gee, I really admire that persons knowledge and respect it”?
Personally I think fanboys are amongst the most ignorant and stupid people in the gene pool. Tying themselves to brand loyalty in favour of even considering options that may (and often are) better? That’s just downright dumb!
