Would You Rather Have An Android Tablet Or An iPad?

At this point we’re pretty familiar with the iPad and we’ve heard plenty of rumours about upcoming Android tablet devices, but we’re left wondering: Which would you choose?

Would you choose an Android tablet—something like the rumored Samsung Galaxy Tab—or would you go with an Apple iPad instead?

One will have Flash, the other does not… yes HTML 5 is on the way but it isn’t here yet.

What would you use Flash for anyway?

God, are you not over the flash thing yet????? Come up with something original, something that will genuinely cause a degraded user experience perhaps

I’d rather have a Windows 7 tablet actually. Keep the phone OS’s for phones & give me a proper OS for a tablet.

Window 7 tablet? Specs better be pretty good, because all my netbooks run abysmally slow compared to IPad. Not to mention the lack of Apps designed for touch screen on Windows.

Both devices will/are app focused so hmm well which has more apps? ohyeah iOS…

and as for flash…well its next to non existent on my dektop so that isnt a reason to not go for a device

I need flash so I can see the annoying Telstra ads on Gizmodo.

I voted iPad, I have one and an iPhone. I am not a cult of mac person, I am using a PC at home and work, but I just can’t look at any other device without comparing it to the iPad/iPhone. Apple do make beautiful things, great build quality and it does pretty much everything I need.

The question isn’t “Would I go to another device because Apple can’t do flash?”. The question for me is, “Is the fact that something else CAN do flash enough to make me to change device.”

    I refuse to vote!

Ask this question when there really is a choice out there. That ugly dell thing is not one.
Apple must be laughing in their pants at the many rumored “ipad contenders” yet not one has made it to consumer hands.

Spot on, jeremee! i’d love to have a pad with USB and SD card access running Android, but there’s just nothing out there at this moment that is even close to the screen size of the iPad. so, as devoted Apple hater, i’ll just have to wait…

    Notion Ink Adam FTW.

everything the ipad does plus usb ports, hdmi out, full 1080p video, nvdia chip, pixel qi screen (you can use it in sunlight) etc etc etc for currently $300 or so less than the ipad equivalent.

due out end of the year if you can wait.
