Vice President Who Was In Charge Of Designing The Pre Leaves Palm, HP

We knew that plenty of Palm employees left once HP acquired the company, but now we know the latest one to jump ship: Peter Skillman, Palm’s Vice President of Design. Also known as the man who designed the Pre.

It’s sad to see yet another high-ranking individual leave Palm and HP so soon after Mark Hurd’s resignation, but as TechCrunch‘s MG Siegler remarks: This “should hardly be surprising, given [...]rumours of a mass exodus of executives from Palm as the HP deal neared completion.” [TechCrunch]

    ooooh wonder where he’s headed…

Android would be smart to start snapping more and more of these guys up – maybe not hardware design guys so much – but deff the software guys.

combine palm interface style and look with android… *drools*

yeah, he didn’t design WEBOS… he designed the Pre. You know, the only thing about the Pre that users really hate is the actual hardware.

    So… good riddance.
