    Some surprises in there. My memory would have told me Gmail would have come long before iTunes Store. I can’t believe Youtube has only been around 5 years and can’t believe Twitter has been around for as long as it has…

    Nice. But in fact, Lynx was the first widely used “internet” (web/gopher) browser, quite some time before any GUI browser.

    What’s with the “Corporation for Education and Research Network (CREN)”? Firstly, it’s “CERN”, and secondly, that’s (originally) the “Conseil Européen pour la Recherche Nucléaire”.
