The Best Way To Recycle Those Damn Printer Cartridges

PRINTER INK. Possibly more expensive than oil and blood. Definitely expensive enough that most people I know haven’t bothered owning a printer in years. These printer cartridge dioramas, however, give the increasingly obsolete printer cartridge a new lease on life.

The scenes, some reenactments of great movie moments, were created by artist Faith Pearson. Aren’t they clever?

OK, now you can resume despising printers and everything they stand for. [Ink and Media Limited via io9]

That’s great work from the artists. But seriously, I have an Epson inkjet printer and I have NEVER bought a single ink cartridge. I use a CIS (continuous inking system) – print quality is better than standard Epson inks and total costs less than 10% of OEM cartridges. Do a search ! Plenty of good systems out there.
