Recently, some Swedish girls picked up surveillance gear and bugged their teachers’ staff room in hopes of overhearing details about upcoming exams. They’d have gotten away with their grade-boosting plan too, if only it weren’t for that pesky Facebook.
It turns out that one of the girls got a bit too excited about the whole scheme and bragged about it on Facebook – which in turn resulted in the bug being discovered. The girls were charged with trespassing into the staff room and fined $US270 each. [My Fox]
