Mouth On With Android’s Voice Actions (Verdict: It’s Great)

Voice Actions work! Really well! The video above is a good demo, showing it it navigating to Giz, sending an email, finding Starbucks and and making a self-memo. I didn’t even have to hold the phone up to my face.

WOW! This is what the intelligentsia have needed all along. “Thumbing” messages is stone-age.
Of course, Dragon naturally speaking (r) did this at least a year or two ago – but it is a very over-priced product. AND you do need intelligence and discipline to use it successfully …….
hmmmnnn… maybe THAT’s why they never tried for the mass market!!! :-)

So, who’s technology is that? There was background noise including voices and that was no high-powered p.c.

    Now even I want one!

So damn Slow! But I guess thats what you get for having to send a voice clip to Google’s servers for processing.

The only thing that I thought was a decent use for it was sending an Email, because being in AU data charges are pretty high. So it just seems like a lazy money waster.

If they integrated it into the phone instead. It would be great!
