MoMA iPhone App Puts A Museum In Your Pocket

The Museum of Modern Art in New York City is one of the best museums in the world, but it can be a little overwhelming. The new MoMA iPhone app should make visiting a more manageable experience.

The free app contains pretty much everything you’d want to know about the museum, from floor plans to schedules to directories of all of the art in the museum. It also has audio tours built right in, so you don’t need to rent those little speakers when you’re there.

But my favourite part is that it’s essentially a gigantic database of art, featuring photos and info on pretty much everything on display and a lot of stuff that isn’t on display.
