Foxtel Launches TV Guide Gadget For Windows PCs

Gizmodo AU

The love-in between Microsoft and Foxtel – which previously brought us the Foxtel on Xbox announcement plus the live telecast of Microsoft’s E3 keynote on Fox8 – has just been reaffirmed, with Foxtel launching a TV Guide gadget for Windows PCs.

The gadget, which was co-developed by Microsoft and Foxtel, uses Silverlight to give you complete access to the Foxtel EPG, including the ability to set reminders and remote record events up to two weeks in advance for your iQ or iQ2.

At the moment there’s no Mac version of the downloadable app, but Foxtel say they expect to launch one in the coming weeks.

It actually works faster/better than the website version, interesting.

Slightly offtopic but any word on when Foxtel on Xbox is expected? or what is to be included? 4Q 2010 is coming up very fast.
