Apple’s Next Apple Store Is Castle Hill, Opens Thursday Night

Gizmodo AU

Planning a little bit of late-night shopping this Thursday over at Castle Hill Towers in Sydney? Then prepare yourself for some chanting, riotous applause and other significant uncommon retail behaviour, as Apple is planning on opening its latest store at 5pm Thursday afternoon.

Aside from the fact that the store itself is opening at 5pm on a Thursday afternoon rather than 9am on a Friday morning, there’s probably not too much to get excited about here, although I’m guessing that they’ll have some iPhone 4 units in stock if you haven’t been able to get your hands on one of those yet…

I believe they are opening one soon in Newcastle, they had been advertising for staff. I think it was to open at Charlestown.

      We don’t “hate” Adelaide.
When was the last time you saw an Apple rep with a mullet?
That could seriously damage Apple brand equity.

Allow me to break it down for you.

Just like the issues they faced with white opacity on glass in iPhone 4 production. The rumor is, Apple are working hard on a solution to disguise mullet hair cuts in-store. What would seem apparently quite simple, is not.
Despite numerous talks with local government, South Australia refuse to pass legislation, banning the mullet.

I sincerely hope they reach a resolution soon and you get your Apple store.

      Good luck.
