Add An External eSATA Port To Your New iMac

This is a great modification if you don’t mind having a hole on the bottom of your new 27-inch iMac 2010: add an eSATA port to attach an external hard drive. Best part: you don’t have to do it yourself.

Maybe some fanboys will faint at the sight of that hole in a Jon Ive design, but you will be able to enjoy a massive, ultra-fast 1.5Gbps hard drive. You just have to send your iMac to Other World Computing and, for $US169, they will do it for you. [OWC via MacWorld]
