Windows Phone 7 Handsets Coming From Asus, Dell, HTC And More

Looks like Microsoft’s lined up a few partners for Windows Phone 7. We’d already known Samsung and others were in the mix, but it looks like HTC will be pumping out Microsoft-powered handsets as well.

The Samsung device was sent around for early reviews, which have been cautiously optimistic about Microsoft’s fresh mobile start. And the Dell Lightning had been previously rumoured. But this is the first time we’ve heard the full official lineup: Samsung, Asus, Dell, HTC, and LG, all bringing Windows Phone 7 phones by the end of the year.

If anything, this just affirms our keen interest in the platform. With at least five launch devices, there’s likely to be a form factor to suit everyone’s needs. [Pocket-Lint via Engadget]

HTC or AUSUS is likely to be the question.

I do want copy and paste though I can’t live without that again!
