What’s The Best Graphics Card For StarCraft II?

The gang over at TechSpot loaded up the newly released StarCraft II on what seems like a hundred different PC setups to determine what the best hardware setup for the insanely popular real-time strategy game is. Here are the results:

The good news is that basically any modern graphics card will be able to run the game very smoothly on Medium settings, so even if you’re not someone with a water-cooled monster gaming rig, you’ll be fine. This isn’t the most graphically intensive game in the world.

But if you’re in the market for a new card, want top-notch performance in the game without spending a boatload of cash, it looks like the GeForce GTX 460 is the card for you. It was recently released and can be found for about $US200.

Of course, you could always go for serious overkill with a beefier, more expensive card and be set for the next hot, graphically intensive game, but that one is up to you.

Be sure to hit up the full report for a whole boatload of info and details on their testing and results. [TechSpot]
