The CTIA Doesn’t Want SAR Radiation Levels Displayed On Phones

They claim that it would make consumers feel some phones are safer than others without adequate scientific proof and are thus suing the city of San Francisco to stop their mandatory radiation warning law. According to the FCC, all phones are safe below a certain SAR level; San Francisco says it just wants to inform users so that those concerned about radiation can more easily access that information. That’s fair enough of the city of san francisco.

“They claim that it would make consumers feel some phones are safer than others” – well if im bloody spending my money on something that emits some form of radiation, i want the safest possible product. I don’t care about what these people think. They have no place to say what information i need to know.

As for the scientific proof part – All the city has to do is include references, and that’s that. There’s ways around – rather than trying to completely abolish laws, and sue the creators of said laws.

    Pathetic.
