We have some Nokia news from an official channel for once. These photos come direct from the Nokia N8, showing us just how good static objects look via the smartphone’s 12MP camera when used under ideal lighting conditions.

Saturday, July 10, 2010 at 10:16 AMVery nice indeed. What’s the HD video quality like compared to iPhone 4 and Samsung Galaxy S?
Hardware wise there’s a lot to like about the N8. It’s a shame it’s running such an awful OS :(

Saturday, July 10, 2010 at 11:38 AMHow can you say it’s such an awful OS when there is no current device on the market that uses it? Symbian 3 is fully open source and has been built from the ground up – it is nothing like Symbian OS 9.4, etc. The only similarity is the UI, which will be fully re-done for Symbian 4 – which will also be an improvement on the new code base.

Sure they say its re-worked from ground up. But from the videos, the UI doesn’t seemed to have changed much.
It still lacks consistency and polish. This is just comparing to Android, and Android still needs a little work.
