Space Invaders HD For iPad Includes Tabletop Two-Player Mode

Space Invaders has today landed on its 50 billionth hardware format, with the iPad “HD” version arriving for download on the App Store. It’s no third-party clone – series inventor Taito is behind this.

Which means you get the original graphics and black background, introduced via the famously iconic – and completely unrelated to the appearance of the actual game – Space Invaders artwork.
