The software patch is being deployed in areas where the AT&T network is supported by Alcatel-Lucent, according to an AT&T spokesperson. This should come as a big relief to those affected by crippled connections, which according to AT&T, accounts for about 2 per cent of all wireless subscribers. We’d known Alcatel-Lucent was at the root of the problem and that a fix was coming soon, but it’s good to know that we’re just a few weeks away to all systems normal.
