A neat touch that I wouldn’t mind in future sink taps, showers, etc: the Renshui tap displays the exact temperature of the water, so you can easily get the water to your own perfect temperature. [Renshui via UberGizmo]

Sunday, July 11, 2010 at 1:49 PMFor one thing I hate touch sensors, they’re irritating and unresponsive.
Also, what happens when the power goes out?
This is another case of form over function where the form isn’t even that clever.

also, the design is wrong. If the controller is rectangular then the stream should be to. the Best control I’ve come across is in Kong Kong where SARS created the need for ‘touchless’ hand washing. – They use IR sensors to detect when you wave your hand over the hot or cold symbols.

Sunday, July 11, 2010 at 8:55 PMThis drives me nuts, there are some really good products overseas not available in Australia.
Check this out from Europe, A company called Grohe have mechanical mixers that always give you the exact temperature that you ask for and very simple as well. Have been doing it for a long time.
See the link.
