You probably know you can make your iPhone do stuff using your voice. “Play music!” Old hat, but there’s a few new commands for iOS 4, like “What time is it?” [ATMac]
I wonder if these can recognise multiple accents? I tried activating the voice commands on OS X once and it was pretty hit and miss if I spoke normally but worked just about every time I put on an American accent.
The voice commands on the new OS are so crap - The only thing positive I noticed is that it knows I'm in Australia so now speaks in an Australian accent.
It takes 6 times as long to process and recognise ANYTHING - even "play album" or "dial xx" and 99.9% of the time it gets it wrong.
