Sputnik Watch Goes From Concept To Reality, For $US40

We feature many concepts here at Gizmodo, it’s great to actually see something put into production. This Sputnik watch has an inverted LCD screen, and displays the time and date, plus has an alarm and stopwatch. Not bad for $US40.

Vadim Kibardin is behind the Sputnik design, and is taking pre-orders on his email address, of info[at] kibardindesign.com. It’s got a really nice, simple design which I love – and while you can choose from 16 different colours for the plastic face, there’s something extra-geeky about that almost luminescent white.
