I assume it has a capacitive multi-touch screen as well?
anyone know how “750MHz OMAP processor” will compare with the rest?

Friday, June 11, 2010 at 12:04 PMIt’s exactly the same as Verizon’s original Droid (so yes, it’s capacitive) with a slightly faster processor.
We won’t get this in Australia.

The keyboard looks shyte IMO. They should look to Nokia and their N900 for a sweet keyboard. At only 3 rows of keys, its one of the best i’ve used.

Saturday, June 12, 2010 at 4:15 AMIt is my understanding that OMAP processors are very easily and safely overclockable, so it could be from the same chipset family as the original 3430 OMAP, just clocked higher.
Intel did the same thing with their chips. The e65xx was all cut from the same wafer, but with different factory clocks. So I bought a 6550 stock 2.33 and ran it up to 3.1 with no problems. My Droid 1 is rooted and clocked to 1.1 GHz and it screams past the Inc with Snapdragon, and with Froyo test ROM, it is faster than the Nexus One running 2.2.
