The 2.5 update for Kindles, first let from the starting post late-May, has now been released onto the track for all keen book-jockeys out there. It includes Facebook and Twitter support for sending out a few lines of the book you’re reading, password protection, PDF pan and zoom, and a few new-and-improved organisation tools. Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at 5:35 AMThe official Amazon update is 2.5.2, so anyone that manually updated with the version of 2.5.2 that has been floating about for the last week or so can rest assured that they have the official update. I’ve already taken the opportunity to create several collections, and finally sort out all the samples I’ve got lazing about on my Kindle. I am annoyed that my Kindle didn’t automatically update from 2.3.2 up to 2.3.3 or 2.3.4, which I only found out in the process of manually upgrading to 2.5.2 a few days ago.
