Once you’ve bought your iPhone 4, you’ll be needing a case to protect it from scratches. I’m not talking an overpriced Bumper. I’m talking an overpriced, stylish case made from bamboo, complete with designer etchings on the back.
Grove, a company based in Portland, Oregon, specialises in using sustainable, eco-friendly materials. Their new case for iPhone 4 only adds .07 of an inch to the thickness of the phone, with a metal bezel and custom engravings on the back.
Normally priced at $US99, they’re currently selling them off for $US49 if you pre-order. That $US49 price is for the plain variety, but if you’d like an engraved one, then it’ll set you back $US69. [Grove Made]

Friday, June 25, 2010 at 12:03 PMIt’s your skin bridging the gap between the two antenna’s on the lower left that is causing the signal loss. Either don’t bridge the gap with your hand/fingers or use a case and that solves the problem. You have to admit though, that it’s an annoying problem.
So in short (pun not intended), a case doesn’t hurt the signal, it helps.
