Looks like the 16GB iPhone 3GS is headed to the discount bin at Walmart. The retailer will be offering the device for $US97 – assuming you sign a two-year service agreement – starting May 25.
I guess that what i meant was that we see a lot of posts on the oz site about X handset being sold on X carrier, or X store opening in X town, and they normally relate to the US, not oz..
What’s more frustrating is the dramatic price difference between OZ and the US. When the dollar is so close, it’s disgusting that we’re still paying $719. BTW Nick, any word from Apple stores in OZ as to if they will allow queueing the night before iPhone HD release? Surely someone in an Apple store has loose lips :P
