The Best Lost Building – And My Favourite Scene

Lost became a mess and left many questions unanswered, but it also left us with some of the best scenes and sets in television history. This is the best building in the series, where it all started: The Swam station.

The Swam station was simply beautiful. Dark and mysterious, centred around a geodesic dome and its magical computer, the station glowed with glorious ’70s styling.

For sure, its aesthetics is one of the reasons why I like this scene so very much:

Oh yes. Those were the times. [Arkinet via Archdaily]

Why bother going back to look at it. Every single event was irrelevant remember? It only appeared to matter because we watched it for 6 years.

It wasn’t irrelevant. Sounds like you’ve misinterpreted the ending big time, or have been misinformed if you haven’t seen it yourself.

Jesus, Learn to spell. It’s Swan… not Swam.
