LG Shows Off 84-Inch 3DTV With 3840 X 2160 Resolution

LG’s 47- and 55-inch 3DTVs haven’t even gone on sale yet, but already they’re taunting us with an 84-inch ultra high-definition 3D screen with massive 3840 x 2160 resolution.

It’s gone on show at the Society for Information Display expo in Seattle, Washington, along with a couple of other next-gen panels – including a 47-inch prototype which doesn’t require 3D glasses, and a 21.5-inch optical touch LCD panel which offers both capacitive and resistive technologies that could be used in monitors.
