Sprint has gifted its HTC Hero owners the long-awaited Android 2.1 update, seven months after the first screenshots of a Hero running the faster, snazzier version showed up.
It’s being rolled out as we speak, giving full embellishments to the HTC Sense interface, voice recognition, a refreshed App Market, optimised virtual keyboard, improved Google Maps and Microsoft Exchange support – amongst other tidy smaller features. [Sprint via Electronista]
