Digital Storm’s superpowered BlackOPS PC line added an Assassin this week. It’s “the industry’s most vastly superior vertically cooled” rig around, and it still looks like it could power the Death Star.
The Assassin has three 180mm fans at the bottom of its chassis to pump cool air up vertically through the system, while hot air gets exhausted from the top. Most gaming PCs rely on fans pushing air from front to back. The presumed advantage, combining the vertical fans with cooling liquid, is the ability to overclock to your heart’s content.
The rig starts at $US2400, with specs including an Intel Core i7 930 processor, a GeForce GTX 470 videocard, 6GB of DDR3 RAM, and full bragging rights for a wicked case design. [MaximumPC]

I guess their target audience hasn’t used a computer before because who would be naive enough to see this product as innovation from Digital Storm.
You could buy the same case and install better liquid cooling for half the price.
Who are these people?
