Cut My SIM: The $US30 SIM-To-MicroSIM-To-SIM Converter

Sure, you could take the DIY route to turn your SIM card into a MicroSIM and vice versa or you could simply purchase Cut My SIM, a clever, glorified hole-punch.

Cut My SIM is available for preorder and supposedly is a mistake-proof way of chopping up your SIM card. As a bonus, the clean cut means that you can change your homemade MicroSIM right back into a regular SIM without taking a messy DIY route. [Cut My Sim]

So can you just get a second copy of your existing iPhone SIM and cut it down for iPad? Will it all work properly?

Tim, no operator in the world will give you two SIM card for one number. Your first SIM will be deactivated before the new SIM will be activated….

correct me if I am wrong, and you have strong evidence of the same….

Reminds me of the good old Commodore 64 disk notcher, which allowed you to flip a double sided 5 1/4″ floppy over… it’s like 1985 all over again!
