Whenever I watch 3D I get a headache. Even after a few minutes, I can feel my head begin to pound like a jackhammer relentlessly banging on concrete. That’s why I was happy to see Jez Ford’s pickup of the health and safety warnings for 3DTV on Samsung’s website over at AVHub. As it turns out, 3D and booze might not mix…
“Pregnant women, the elderly, sufferers of serious medical conditions, those who are sleep deprived or under the influence of alcohol should avoid utilising the unit’s 3D functionality.”
They also warn against placing your 3D TV in a location near a stairwell.
So I guess if you’re pregnant, drunk or suffer serious medical conditions you either skip 3D altogether, or opt to buy from a company without a health warning…

Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at 9:46 AMso before they were telling us that “if there were absolutely any health implications with 3D tvs, we wouldn’t have made them”.
and now they are telling us that if you aren’t in a fit enough state to pass a military physical, you shouldn’t use it? seems a bit dodge to me.

is it not just for photo-sensitive seizures?
Video games have the exact same warning.
